HDForums Touring Model Overview?
"The Road King Classic had no windshield..."
Perhaps the author is thinking of the Custom, which only had a little teeny junebug-deflector over the headlight. The Road King Classic has had a windshield since it was born. The Custom is no longer being made.
"The Street Glide... has tour-pak storage, a faring..."
The author might be referring to hard saddlebags, but if so, why not say that instead? "Tour-Pak" is Harley-speak for "trunk." The Street Glide's distinguishing features are that it does not have a trunk, and lacks the passing lamps on the front as well. The "faring" bit must be a typo; the author got it right in describing the Road Glide.
"Electra Glide Classic... has a buddy seat..."
No kiddin'? A touring bike with a buddy seat? What won't they think of next? How about mentioning that it's a new seat with a different shape? And of course the differentiating features that make it not an Ultra are the lack of lowers on the highway bars (some people prefer it that way) and no lights on the trunk.
The author also calls the Road Glide Ultra another "Electra Glide" (which has, since the '90s at least, always implied a batwing fairing), and fails to mention those highway-bar lowers and other Ultra features that make this bike so kickass for the new model year.
I'm probably being too snarky and picky because I'm used to keeping things a little cleaner on Wikipedia... but that's good experience that might be useful here! Anybody want to see my revision suggestions, or at least let me edit for proofreading?
