Default Had a bolt fall off today

We did a 150 mile ride in the beautiful sunshine! About 2 miles from home I put my weight on the floorboards (to adjust my sitting position). And the dang floorboards move! Not much but I could notice it. At home I see the entire assembly (floorboards , jiffy stand, shift linkage) is able to move up and down by hand.
It appears there is a bolt missing where the floorboard unit attaches to the frame. There are 3 bolts there and an empty space where it appears a bolt used to be.
I have no way to know what size bolt it is. I will go to the dealer on Tuesday and try to explain myself. Maybe some cell phone pics would help.
Oh yeah, 96 Heritage Softail Classic.

Remove one of the other footbaord bracket assy bolts and try it in the missing hole. If it goes it the hole and doesn't bottom out on the back side remove it and take it to a bolt supplier (or the dealer if you want to pay double for it) and buy a replacement.

I do hope the bolt vibrated out and didn't snap the bolt head off.... if so let the fun begin!

They are 5/16x24 by 1' or 1 1/4" there is a 4th bolt comes in from the motor side a real pain to get at.

Moved a little !?!

That's not a problem - heck, when I first got my Sportster (it was already 11 years old) I was going off an exit ramp and down shifting when my (non-HD) shifter peg flew off - luckily I found all the parts on the road and was able to get to Home Depot for a folding allen wrench set. Then I started home from work one day a few weeks later and my right foot peg came off (whole assembly from the frame out) - put it in my jacket and put my foot back on the rear peg to go home. Luckily, nothing important has come off - also, nothing actually original to the bike has ever broken or come off - just the aftermarket stuff. I now have my tool bag stuffed with all the tools it will hold.
