Thanks for all the reply. I bought the HD at 240.00 plus free shipping on e bay. Should have it in a few days. I'll use it around here, until my trip to The baloon Fest in ABQ and trip to Durango.
I'm plannig on buying a GOPRO Camera. I'm having a problem trying to decide between the $149 non HD and the 299 HD. I can get these on ebay alot cheaper than the above prices. I'll use the camera just for my own showing and may put some on U tube to share. What are the pros and cons of each?
Another option you might consider is the ContourHD. I was given one by some of my employees as a retirement gift and I really like the way I can mount it on goggles or my helmet. It is also very easy to adjust to make sure you get a level picture andd to turn on/off while wearing gloves. Do a google search on gopro contourhd reviews and you will find a coule of reviews comparing the two. I don't know anything about the GoPro but the reviewers seem to give an edge to the Contour, especially for use on a bike.
I guess its subjective. Here's a review and comparison that favors the GoPro.
Either one would be cool to have, like the Gopro mounted on the bile, and the Countour mounted on your helmet.
Anyone get their GoPro HD from E-Bay. I'm wondering if they are just as good as the ones they sell on their website. I read some wheres once that the ones sold on E-Bay makes a rattle noise in the videos that you take, any truth in this.
GoPro is a portable video/still camera designed for vehicles including motorcycles. They have a standard resolution version and an HD (hi-def) version. He's asking if he should get the standard resolution version (based on price) vs spending the extra on the HD version.
If you're trying to imply that because I'm from the south (South Carolina) I may be an idiot, you're sorely mistaken sir.
Since we're talking about a video camera and the OP is wondering if the HD version is worth the money you'd think that someone with the standard version would post a video and someone with the HD version would post a video for comparison.
that was just me poking a little fun..... sarcasm doesn't come through the keyboard too well....... I knew what he was asking and was just being a smarta$$.........
