Why not get you some rain covers for your boots? My local dealer had them hanging on a rack near the clothes section. In fact, just buy a full set of rain gear.

I carry shoes in my bag and change when I get to the office. I'm leaning towards the earlier suggestion of just leaving a pair at work.

I'd go with cowboy boots if you're set on slip ons. I've got a few pair, but don't prefer them riding my steel horse. If you go with some lace up boots; get some Timberland Men's 6 Inch Premium boots. They have them in a few colors; I've got a set of black ones. They don't claim or advertise them as water proof or even water resistant, but I've ridden all day long in rain with them and my feet stay dry.

Edit: Actually just went and read the description on Timberland's website, they do advertise them as water proof...

+1 on leaving a pair of shoes at work. I forgot I did that a bit when I had an office job. I'd ride in, with my boots on then change them when I got to my desk. No harm. No foul.

No foul???

That would depend on wether your riding boots emitted any "foul" odors at the office.

I ride to work and wear Chippewa cowboy boots or lace up. Another option is leave a pair of dress shoes at work and change when you get there.

That's what I do. The only problem is when I forget to change back at the end of the day. It pisses me off to get all the way out to the parking lot, start the bike and then discover I forgot to put my boots on again.
