Cam,, higher compression???
Ok i bought a 1995 wide glide. never riden a dyna. starting to wish i never did...i have a bad vibration prob. the WHOLE bike jumps and shakes around when its idling. ive been through the iso / motor mount routine already. im starting to wonder if the bike has a bigger cam...and or thin head gaskets (higher compression) . and that would be giving me a lot of the vibes/ jumping around at idle. are there numbers stamped on the cam and would they be visable without taking the cam out to identify what it is? i know its an evo motor. but my 99 springer was an evo and it had a little "buzz" at highway speed but not rattle your teeth blurr your vision vibration that this thing has. im just about ready to sell this "glide" as soon as the title comes back. almost every guy i see on here and others ive talked too buy the iso pegs...motor mounts...etc. i dont get it. theres 2010 glides with bad front mounts with less than 5000 miles on em. Harley says..."oh thats normal" ya right! why dont they just solid mount the motor?!

in 20,000 miles i have change motor mounts twice, last time i took it in and said after they changed both, it was still rough they fig the guy who installed them diden`1t torque right, you have to loosen both than full throttle for 7 seconds let engine settle in than torque them down sounded silly but damn if it diden`t work love it now

OK, ill try that. i hope this works. is this a centering process? the loosening of both front and rear mounts then full throttle for 7 seconds? should i look closer at the rear mount also? i pried on it but everybody says it never goes bad. its got 38000 miles on it as far as i know?
