I have had 2 ATVs stolen, and thwarted two attempts. On one occasion I chased the guys til they blew their car engine, and had 911 on the phone. The cops got there at the right time. Guys had 24" bolt cutters, everything, but claimed they were "just turning around" at my house. I live 1/2 mile off the road, on a private drive, off of a private drive. My atv was chained up with a heavy chain and lock. That's why they had 24" bolt cutters. Didn't matter, Cops let em go.
Another time, 3 guys almost had my ATV in their blazer. I chased them for 30 miles or so, hit em, law comes up, tells me to pull over (I am on their bumper!), and LOSES THEM. Found their car abandoned, blah blah blah. Eventually they tracked them with dogs, so they told me, but I never got any info on what happened in court.
Good luck, I would love for thieves to get much harsher treatment. Anyone who takes from a working family ought to get something that he will never forget, so he won't do it again. I hope you get your bike back, if you want it back.

I have known 3 Navy seals in my life, one of which is in my family and quite frankly none of them would of even mentioned such in a post about having a bike stolen.Sorry if i am a little hesitant to believe your i'm a badass attitude.If you are legit,then god bless you.

No offense, but if I were you I'd move. It doesn't seem worth the trouble to stay. Besides that, the thieves are so brazen you can't be sure of what's coming next. Maybe that was the last of it though. Whew!

late 70's I had a bike lifted , by chance 3 wks later the ******* sat at light 2 cars ahead on me on my bike . He never saw it coming and maybe the jack handle was a bit much . For what that cost me I could have bought 3 bike's and a house to put them in . A DA can make real long list of charges that start " Assault With ...... " . I feel you big time man something taken from you goes to the core for some reason kinda like rape does with women .
The above poster has a point , they will hit wait a few months and hit you again betting the insurance has paid and you've got new toys ..... This was stated by some boys out of Oakland who do that **** for a living .
