cool DOT helmets??

Where can you buy the thinest DOT helmets that look closest to novelty helmets?? Any web sights? thx

Try searching the forum for ACC helmets. They are supposed to be the world smallest DOT helmet and made of carbon fiber.

I'm not really sure they are dot though, mines a 3/4 and it just came with a sticker, (which I removed), I thought the dot had to be under clearcoat

I have bought many helmets in my quest to find the best fitting dot helmet. I have tried skid lid, daytona,nexl,hjc,& many others. I have now found the helmet. It is the ACC dot helmet. I have also bought the non dot. They are both great helmets. The non dot is tiny but fits great. The dot is the smallest helmet I have bought.I was actually gonna return it it to get the next smaller sheel helmet but wore it today for a test ride. It did really well. I'm actually gonna keep it. It was well worth the wait to get the helmet .

My buddy just got the ACC non-DOT so I have a reference and I want to get a pair for me and the girl. You said you have both, is the DOT much bigger, noticably different riding?

I saw in one of the HD motorclothes catalogs a DOT half shell that is supposed to be HD's smallest/lightest helmet made. It cost $69.00, but I haven't seen one in the dealer's yet. The price seems way to low, but do a search on HD and see.
