i will share my experience with this because it just happed to me in july, ill give you guys the short version. ive been friends with this person for a way long time ive done just as much for him as he has done for me i though he was my closest friend but i was wrong, ive been storeing 3 of his bikes for three years for next to nothing the only thing i asked was that he chipped in for the wood pellets to heat the garage and that cost him bout 500 for the year his half. he works at a body shop that im good friends with the owner and decided to do some paint work on my bike and said friend said he would do it. took bike apart begining of january and keep after him about getting some of the stuff done that wasnt getting any grafix work done and he kept blowing me off saying this an that and would always end it with just ride my softtail everytime just ride one of my bikes, cause he was yet to even look at them yet this year. so while being blown off i took his streetglide out 2 times once to run it and give it a bath and the other to take my mother to the doc,i rode his softtail a half dozen times but no long trips just local stuff if it got dirty i got washed and wiped down everytime i took better care of them than he did. okay fast forward last week of june we get my bike parts painted and i made a last second decision to change out my bars scince the whole front end was apart, it was a saturday and he finally comes a picks up his sg and wants to go for a ride with a couple of friends and tells me come with us and take the softtail. we go for the ride and while rideing the mirror falls of the bike hits me in the hand and then over my shoulder we stop pick up the mirror put it in the saddlebag and kept going.the only damage was a little dent in the side of it,the following wed my bars and levers are do to be delivered and i swing by the body shop to pick a couple things up and planed on haveing my bike done that friday. i notice said friend is not talking to me and i ask him whats up, he starts screaming at me to put my f***** bike together and to stop rideing his bikes that i busted all his stuff and that i dont appreciate anything he does. he has a lot of stuff at my hse 3 bikes,canoe,tools,chainsaw bike jacks and all kinds of bike parts taking up bout half of my 16X20 garage.now i have busted nothing of his stuff period but he insists that i broke everything hes kept at my shop witch is bs, i told him to come get all his stuff that day or the scrape guys were gonna hit the mother load out front of my hse cause if he didnt come get it today thats were everything would end up. my bike was together that friday went on a 400 mile ride andhavent talked with him scince,have seen him but wont aknolwege his existince. thats the short version i wasnt going to type out the screaming match we had but just giveing you my experience.
