do you let others ride your harley? i asked a buddy of mine today if he ever let anyone ride his.

"hell no. that's like sharing the wife."

thoughts?

Only person allowed to ride mine is my uncle, he's been riding since he was 8 and owns 3 HDs. Anyone else can get bent. I don't even let other people sit on mine unless I show them how to pick it up, give them permission and supervise them. Very few have had that privilege.

i let my brother ride it once, and my dad ride it once. but only 'cause i knew i could beat payment out of one, and the other would just sign his bike over to me.

Just my son, and even then reluctantly, but he knows if he breaks it, he bought it, lol.

I have 2 friends that can come get it whenever.. They keep their bikes in my shop.. So I have colatteral.. That and they can afford to fix what they break..

Just my dad. He road it once. Oh ye, I let my brother in law ride it once but he's a pro. I followed him on his RK.

Just one riding buddy, its nice on long trips to switch off for an hour on long days. Anyone else can get bent. Surprising I've had to say no alot. Cracks me up people ask me to ride it cause they had a ________ cycle 20 years ago.

Three of my closest buds. They can have anything I own if they want it and vice versa. Other than these guys who I would take a bullet for, no.
