Default Getting bike off chock

Any way to make it easier to get a bike off the harbor freight chock. The street glide takes two people, one shoving on the front forks and the rider pushing backwards. We've even had to rock the bike back and forth till we get it off. I noticed there is a hole at the top of the rear piece of metal that flips up when the bike enters the chock. Thinking maybe to add a metal bar there to use possibly as a leverage you can put your foot on to push this metal down while rolling the bike back.

I have a couple of the Condor style chocks by Haulmaster from HF. I can setup & remove my Ultra by myself in either my toyhauler or enclosed trailer. Which HF chock do you have?

I'm able to tug my RG off the black Harbor Freight chock by myself but its scary. One of the high quality chock makers has a lever like you say. If you have a slanted driveway point the bike uphill. The slight downhill will help removing it.

Default new hole

If the bolt is not in the bottom hole, put it there. If it is, drill new holes about 3/4 to 1in back from the bottom two holes already there, you need to loosen the tire plate a little

I ****** mine out by myself, no problem. Are you using the black chock, or the silver one?

I"m using the silver chock on my lift table and have no problem at all. Try putting the chock in the lowest hole, but I've had no problem getting my dad's road glide off too.

I have the black chock and quit using it cause it was so hard to get the front tire out of. I was thinking of modding it by removing the long metal bar and just using two short bolts on either side clearing the path for the tire. being a lazy a** I just haven't gotten around to seeing if that would work.

I have to rock, grab the brake, rock it a little further, and it usually comes back, I use the silver one from HF.

Condor chock here.
Was a little difficult until I moved the pin for the cradle one hole closer to the backstop. Does the HF have different holes so you can adjust the "grab?"

This is one reason I bought the Wheel Dock. No problem with it. I thought it might be a problem getting bike out of those swivel cradle types........?????????
