I have a 2008 CVO Springer, 6 months ago I upgraded the clutch with SE RACE CLUTCH # 37976-08 & SE PERFORMANCE CLUTCH KIT / PLATES # 37969-03A.
The bike operated well however in the last month I have been having problems changing gears, not all the time but going back down the gears is worse then going up. Not sure whats happening as sometimes I need to lift the shifter up, down, up and then down for it to click in to gear. When changing gears the leaver feels like there is play in it.
Any ideas?

Is there a bleed on the clutch and there should be some type of adjustment on the clutch inside the primary I would think. I know very little about hydraulic clutches on HD's but it seems there should be some way to adjust this clutch.
