Help... Hit and run
I am in the OKC area (Moore) specifically.
Anyway, my son's football coach just told us that his dad was severely hurt in a hit and run accident (broken femur, pelvis, etc). Was riding a sport bike on 27th st in Moore... Was hit by a silver Jeep Cherokee (according to witness) but no other leads.
If anyone on her happens to see a jeep with front end damage, a heads up to the local pd would be appreciated.
This might not be the right thread, but I feel for my son's coach.

I'm from California, but I occasionally get sent from work to Norman for a few weeks. Nobody that I know of is there right now, that I know of. Otherwise, I wish I could help. Good Luck.....
I got hit a couple of months ago. The guy who hit me and ALL of the witnesses left me at the scene at midnight until a passerby stopped to find out why I was laying down. I had NO idea what hit me- I didn't even see the headlights of the guy (I REALLY want to know if he had them on, because if he did I should have seen them in my mirrors). What I'm saying is that this is the difference between Oklahoma. The witnesses left me for dead in California. The people in Oklahoma are what makes Oklahoma great.
Right now, I wouldn't be surprized if the driver of the Jeep that fled was from California. It's happening more and more. Our family's last accident was a hit-and-run. They don't get caught, so why SHOULD they stop ?
Kid's football coaches deserve good karma. I hope the guy is caught.
