I can say this...it is PURPLE....saw it on an Ultra at the dealer I bought my SG from and it's purple. Not my cup for sure...the Sedona Orange looks much better live than online and the Merlot is probably the best new color on the 2011's...IMHO..
I saw one that color at the dealer last time I was there. I thought at first that I'd had a brain hemorrhage, and my eyesight was the first thing to go...
Pure Purple on a Challenger = OK
Pure Purple on a Yamaha = OK
Pure Purple on Pamala Anderson = Wow
Pure Purple on a Harley = Nada
The purple/blue/black on the 2010 Limited = Awsome
Glad I bought my 2010 since they discontinued it in 2011.
JMHO the color schemes for the 2011 LimitedS are awful.

I like my black ice, but I get a lot of crap for it.....
Must be something about you. Mine is a lot more purple than Black Ice, with poorly painted red flames (I got it that way) and nobody so much as smiles at it. I wouldn't actually care if they did, but all I get are compliments in real life.
How did they come up with a name like Black Ice for purple/blue? Probably at a bong party. First Harley stoner.....hey man, is that black?
Second Harley stoner.....no man, that's like, blue and purple man.
First Harley stoner.....sweeet, how do you spell purple?
Second Harley stoner........ uuuuhh ....p i r ....... p u r p e l .... p e r p ..... B.L.A.C.K. I.C.E.
First Harley stoner....OK, like, we'll call it Black Ice, man.
Second Harley stoner............OK dude.
Anyone seen this color in person? Going to drop a few bucks on a new RK Classic tomorrow, and the color choices really suck. Too many Black ones out there, and I owned enough black trucks to know that it sucks cleaning them all the time. Silver is boring, Rootbeer .....nah, Purp/Blk...interesting.
Yeah, I heard it before, Purple is a chic's color. I wouldn't want to meet the chic that can pick up a dropped Road King.
Saw it on a SG. It didn't look bad but, as has been said already, my first thought was that it would make a good color for a woman who rides....
