OK...Saw the Purple at the dealer today. They should call it Psychotic Purple.
I got a good deal on a trade for my 02 Fatboy, and closed the deal on a 2011 RoadKing Classic in BLACK. I know I said I didn't want black, but I couldn't help myself. It looks great in black. The other colors just plain suck. I don't know who comes up with these colors.
Is that the new flat white with pearl? I like white Harleys - might be my favorite color - I even like pearl paint - but WHO puts pearl in a flat finish? That is plain retarded looking.
Saw a purple & black SG at one of the local dealers. It was in the showroom, so I didn't get a chance to see it in sunlight. I thought it looked pretty good, but I don't think I'd want it for myself.
A salesman saw me looking at it, and said, "Yeah, that's a standard color this year." I said I thought it was one of the two custom colors for 2011, and he said "Nope, Harley decided to make it a standard color." I figure it was one of 3 things: the salesman didn't know what he was talking about; he figured I wouldn't know the difference, and so he could BS me; or, the MoCo actually did make it a 'standard' color (least likely scenario). Anyone know for sure?
Who know's .....now all you people in America where are these pics .... you all go into the dealers and see them and tell people it's a bad color so how about somebody putting a few pictures on here so we can all see what it looks like .....
Purp/Blk...interesting.
Yeah, I heard it before, Purple is a chic's color. I wouldn't want to meet the chic that can pick up a dropped Road King.
There are some fine chicks who can pick up (by themselves) a dropped Road King or Honda GoldWing..... any of us guys who can't pick up our bikes ought to paint them pink and put nice pink plastic tassles of the handgrips.
