+1 on the 1k fluid changes just to satisfy the warranty side, then at least change the engine oil/filter just before storage. strongly encourage the use of a fuel stabilizer if the bike sits. Sta-bil is a real good product, like another post said, gummed up fuel pump and injectors aren't worth the hassles and money you'll spend in the spring.

How about this for winter storage.... Just sell everything you own but the bike, move down south here where we ride all year round!! Then no need for fuel stabilizer, battery tenders, or the dealer keeping your bike! Just an alternative plan to ponder.....

If you are gonna lay it up for more than a couple of months, fog the engine...As far as oil changes goes, I would not change it unless it needed it...I am fortunate enough to have more motor vehicles as toys than most guys. I don't change the oil just because the season changes. I change it when it needs it.
