Anyone pay for just a remap?? I had a local dealer do a remap after a friend put on my pipes and did stage 1 kit. They charged me $150 for remap and $63 for 1 hr labor.
When the dealer did mine it was parts, 1 hour labor, and $150 remap. The one hour labor was for installing the aircleaner and slipons; no labor charge on the remap.
Remap are listed in the screaming eagle suppliment catalog. I think list is 125-150. Plus Labor to install. I would not say you were flat out taken. Typical HD Dealer charge without haggling. My dealer quoted me about 200.00 But really wanted to sell me a race tuner and 5 hours of dyno for 1000.00 plus part: exhaust, air cleaner etc.. Total quote was 2G's needless to say I passed on my exh work.
