if it were me? remove the glitz, set of nice drag bars or street slammer bars, wide rear end conversion and strutless short fender, set of shotgun exhausts, paint per choice
but thats just me. All depends on what you want to do with that beastie and your budget.
It's YOUR bike , skip what everybody else would do to theirs . Just start looking around at other rides & bike pictures develop YOUR personal style and look , It's a big part of what owning a Harley is all about . Good luck anyway you go and ride safe .
It appears that this started life as a Fatboy. You could get back to that by replacing the front forks and rear fender. Neither are stock Fatboy. You may decide that you like the apes so I would do them last. Whatever turns you on. It is probably a great bike. Welcome to the forum and Harley-Davidson. Good luck.
Id enjoy it as it is A lot of money has gone into it and it is certainly a nice unique ride! I wouldn't put any more bucks into it. I'd consider it for the down payment when I decided to move to "my own" bike later.
Owning something like this that is a personalize-able item, needs to be just left at that. Personalize it to suit YOUR personality. Doesn't matter what anyone else thinks looks good. Apes or beach bars, new paint, more chrome, less chrome ... Ratbike or nostalgic ... It's all about YOU. What do YOU like? Skulls or butterflies ... Your choice...Make it your own.
