I'll be 73 in another month and don't plan on giving up my Low Rider anytime soon.

Like a lot of previous posts, got my first motor after returning from Vietnam ('67-'68). My 67th birthday is coming up soon, and I want to ride while I still can.

I'm only (?) 55, and still wonder how THAT happened. Went for a short 60 mile ride today, looking at leaves and enjoying the Fall weather. I'm in the process of quitting smoking, eating right, etc so I can continue the fun I had today. First new bike was a '76 Triumph Bonnie. Not that long ago, I thought, until I realized that Jimmy Carter was president and Chrysler Cordobas (with that fine Corinthian leather) were new cars. Damn.

I have only owned my own Harley for 2 yrs. now, but rode metrics for a couple years prior to that. Grew up around Harley's as a kid and always had a deep regard for them. I am now 68 yrs. old and absolutely love my 09 Heritage. Plan on riding as long as I can be safe out there, and not be a risk to others.

I grew up riding my dad's Triumph. I'm 55 now and he's 76 and owns an Ultra. It runs in the family, my son started early too.

I'll be 55 tomorrow and started riding in the dirt at 12 then on the street at 15 with a brand new learner's permit. I couldn't imagine being without a bike. A typical ride is at least a hundred miles (round trip to work), but the OL and I cover a couple hundred on a saturday.
