'07 combo speedo/tach...
I received the speedo/tach today and it took about 20 minutes to install, very easy, plug-in installation on the '07. The only problem is, contrary to what HD tech support told my dealer prior to ordering it, you LOSE the clock. Tech support told the dealer that you keep all the '07 functions including the clock. Also, the odometer is on, even with the ignition switch off. On the stock '07 when the ignition is off, the display is blank and if you push the reset button, the odomster displays and push it again and the clock displays. With this one, the odometer is already displayed and the button turns the backlight on for 5 seconds. It really pisses me off to lose the clock and the always on odometer irritates me. The dealer is calling HD and said that I can return it if I want. Now I have to decide if it is worth all that money to gain a tach but lose the clock.

I have kicked around the idea of putting one of those on my '04 Fatboy. I have found that they make one for that model. It would be cleaner than mounting a tach on the handlebar. Hope you get your issue resolved.
