Got a back rest on that King? The position the stock backrest makes you ride as a passenger in a terrible position. No way to relax. When we went to a ElectraGlide, my wife totally stopped complaining and has ridden 5000 miles as a passenger in 2 weeks with no problem, even did a 726 mile day along the way. It is a bigger pillion and the backrest allows her to lean back in the saddle. Also the Kury passenger highway pegs may help to change positions. A tourpak and an Ultra style seat with a large pillion will make a huge difference.

I would probably keep the seat as it is and just give you a butt rub every couple of hundred miles or so. I am pretty helpful like that...jus sayin

Default thanks for all the replies

Thanks to everyone for all the replies. Here's a picture of said bike. This is an old picture, the bike's had a few modifications, including replacing the stock seat with the Mustang but other than that change, my seating arrangements are the same. There is a backrest (I couldn't imagine riding without it, and probably wouldn't). I didn't know that about the footboards adjusting and that's probably worth a try. Sorry, I don't have a picture of my hind-end to show, but it's not that flattering. I'm short and round and carry lots of extra cushion around with me in the rear. I'm still deciding whether that's working for me or against. Keep the ideas coming! I'm taking them all in with glee... maybe there's hope yet!

Pretty bike! Honestly I think you're doing good if you're riding for 2 hours straight. Even with my mustang seat, I'm ready to get off by then. Usually need fuel by that time anyway. Like someone else said, it's good to get off every coupla hours and stretch. I don't think there's much more you can do to help the situation.
