Why do ride? I've been riding since I was a kid, no one else in my family rides. I just wanted to be out on my own, the freedom of the open road. What drew you two wheelers out from among the rest?

It was all my Dads fault. When I was 10, I was saving up for a 10 speed. My Dad knew a guy with a minibike for sale, you know, tube frame, briggs motor, no suspension. Well I bought it and thats what started it all. 24 motorcycles later and now my first Harley. There's just nothing that compares to riding motorcycles. It's flying without wings to me. Sometimes I wish I would live forever just to ride....
Always wanted to ride when I was a kid. Didn't really start until after I moved out from the folks. Mom was pretty adament about that. Got my first bke at 20 or 21 and rode 'til I damn near killed myself at 33 or 4. I wasn't injured, just real shook up, but it trashed the left side of the bike. I fixed the bike but was riding less and less. Yeah, the accident shook me pretty bad and I was on the FD at the time, and what I was seeing there didn't help. Eventually I wasn't riding at all and there was this house we wanted to buy. Sold the bike, bought the house, and thought about buying another bike every spring since then. This past spring, the bike, the money, and me, were all in the same place at the same time and I'm riding once again - - - and loving every minute.
Same thing, no one in my family rides. Me......I just
like the wind in my face. Got the bike because my
wife thought I looked pretty stupid with my head
always out the window. LOL
