Heather did you get any saddle time this weekend? If so how do you like the WG compared to the Sporty?
Yes we rode all day yesterday and today. I really like the WG. It definately feels different. I'm still getting used to it. It is A LOT more touchy to sudden movements than the Sporty was. I mean every little movement effects the bike. It is heavier to back into parking spaces! I'm still learning the bike...feeling out turns. We did some little twisties by our house. On the Sporty I tore thru those turns. I don't have that confidence yet on the WG. But it sure is more comfortabe with the mini-apes.
There is a oil pressure gage that needs to come off the bike. It sits right under my right leg and gets very HOT! I thought it was going to burn a hole in my jeans. Why in the heck would someone install something like that right under your leg? [:@]
Also, on the interstate when I got up over 70 mph the bike seemed to wobble???? Kind of scared me. Doesn't happen everytime but I don't like it! Sean's bike has a fork brace on it. A few people said that will make a difference if I put that on it. I think that'll be the first mod. Plus we put saddlebags on it. Don't think that should throw it off....should it?
What's with the macho attitude? Get back there and let her take control. It doesn't make you any less of a man. Didn't you once post a pic like that anyhow?
YES!!! but, it was while parked, waiting for a trip around the track in Daytona

If I remember correctly I believe you have over 20K on the speedo, you need to check out the steering head bearing play, as this can affect the handling, also check the tire pressure and make sure that is correct at both ends, check the alignment of the rear tire axle, and make sure the tires are balanced correctly dont' know the mileage on the tires but look for cupping on the front one. Just a few things to check and the fork brace couldn't hurt either.
