I lined the bikes up on three points, the battery box, timing cover and air filter cover, lined them up on a horizontal plane (using battery box for perspective and put them in the same perspective and then overlayed them. I don't see any differences.
Hey HDWG, How did you get Heather to start riding? Was it
something she wanted or did you have to coax her a little.
I'd like to get my wife to ride, but I don't want to push her.
I had a Honda 750 Shadow ACE.......got the WG and still had the Honda. HC was sell it and I just kept telling her that it would be a good bike for her to learn on. At first she had no interest, just happy on back. I just kept telling her it is easy that she should at least try. Got her on it finally, gave her some pointer and basic operation, she was to go to the end of the street and stop.....no turning. She got to the end of the street, stopped and then turned left......went around the entire nieghborhood and rode on by saying "Iam going around again, this is fun!" That was that, she went around the nieghborhood several times that day and for days to come before getting out on main streets. Then I started slowly, we are in a little town, not much traffic, just went around the little town a few times, then to the next town over then, did a all weekend poker run and road around the Indy speedway. I thought it may be over the first time on the highway, she did not like it at all.......took a bit to get her more used to the highway. Got good on the Honda and demanded a Harley, she was not going to be riding around with me on my HD and her on a Honda.

Do not push it.....go buy a smaller bike and just leave it in the garage and tell her it is for her.....she was talking in her sleep the other night and she was talking about how she cannot wait to ride!!! Then, just let her look at HER bike everyday until she gets the urge
