New 2008 Fatty

I took some pictures yesterday of my new (actually new only 16 miles) 2008 Fat Boy. It is number 726 / 4000. This bike was one of 16 offered by the state of Virginia on one of their lotteries. If you can believe this 3 of the bikes were never claimed this bike was one of those bikes. The dealer had repurchased it from the state and had put it on the floor a few days before I found it. does this mean I have to change my username now?

Never claimed, meaning 3 people actually won bikes and never picked them up? That's pretty bizarre.

But congrats on your new bike, it's a beauty!

Yup that is what happened. I thought people lose tickets, put them somewhere and forget about them, run them through the washer, that kind of thing. But if I had bought a ticket It would have been put in a prominent place that I could see each day. I am just glad I was able to purchase it.
