Hit a deer. November 2009 first day of hunting season for rifles. Season is open year round for Harley's.
$4,600 in damage, broken toe, bruises and strains. Leathers scuffed up and a nice imprint of my off duty weapon in my chaps. Seems I slid a bit on that side once I was down. Damn trooper wouldn't let me shoot the doe and I was so pissed that I didn't even think to keep the meat. Worst thing was that some *******(s) had scattered corn and seed on the shoulder on both sides of the roadway to lure the deer up there.

Just me. Nice Saturday afternoon ride to watch my daughter's softball game a few miles from home. Glanced to my right as I passed a friends house, looked back up to see someone stopped in front of me turning into a repair shop that was closed for the day. I managed to miss him went down anyway. Took 16 staples, 7 screws, and a two piece interlocking plate to put my elbow back where it had been before I went down.
