Windshield Cleaner
Found this new cleaner at W-mart the other day. ' Nathans " glass cleaner, works great on the windshield and chrome no streaking and its safe for tinted windows. Best part its only 98 cents for the 32 oz. spray bottle. [sm=smiley20.gif]

If there is any alcohol in the mix, it will degrade the coating on your HD windshield. Use it on the windows of your house if it does, and just plain ol' soap and hot water on the Harley. Sometimes hot water is all you need. If it is covered in bugs, place a wet towel over the windshield for a half hour to loosen the buggers and use lots of water. Dry bugs will scratch the coating.

I bought the stuff from the harley dealer because they said I couldn't use anything tinted because the windshield would turn that color. But boy is that stuff nice it gets off the old dried bugs and everything very easy.

Don't use ANY cleaner that has ammonia in it...it will remove the protective glaze on windshields. Stick to products that are made for plastic/acrylic windshields.
