I keep seeing people posting about winter mods. I know it is cooling off but it's going to be in the 70's all week here in southern Illinois. I'm seeing people as far as Mississippi doing winter mods.
They need to change the name of their post to " Wannabe Winter Mods".....pull up your panties and ride.
a lot of us get excited about the mods that are in store , its hard not to get anxious. plus there are a lot of us that run older bikes a LOT of hard miles , its getting time to do some permanent fixes to our patch jobs that got us through the season
Im doing winter mods. So what. Now this week is a nice week, great riding. Went today, was about 70. Rest of week is about the same.
Now come Decemeber/January I wont be so lucky. Thats when I/others can tear down the motor, paint, take time installing parts bc they dont have the urge to want to go ride in 20 or lower degree weather.
Kick back in the warm garage with some beers and work.
I'm in Mississippi and have the bike torn down for winter mods already. I work nights, so the high temp for the day is not the one that concerns me.......it'll be 42* here tonight. Oh yeah, I rode to work. See, you gotta keep one assembled and running while the other one gets modded
