Never "crashed". I've been involved in a few memorable incidents on dirt bikes, but I've been blessed to never "crash" one of my street bikes.
Oh, wait, my bad...I had a kid on a bicycle run into me and put me and the bike down back in 1969. Really! The little turd wasn't watching where he was going, I was doing boat 15mph in a school zone...he hit me on the left side, broke my ring finger when his handle bar connected with mine...fortunately, I took the worst of it. He had a charlie horse in thigh where my knee got him and a skinned place on his chin...Oh, the 125 I had at the time was fine!!
Dont think Ive even said, Damn that road looks nice, I think Ill lay down and sit a spell.
I have however been hit several times. Once a Camaro hit me so hard from running a light, I hit the traffic light control box so hard it stopped my heart.
As a few of my Buds drove by and saw the paramedics working on me they said:
Let's see... slid out on a turn in gravel and oil 1979... hit by a drunk driver while he was making a left hand turn from the 3rd lane to the right of me in 1981 or 82 and ... summer 1986 I was lane splitting while "loaded" and doing 65 mph in a 45 zone while traffic was doing 20 mph. Someone in a big ugly "tuna-boat" car did the "emergency brake and swurve" routine directly in front of me! I only broke one bone after flying through the air and then sliding to a stop. Afew close calls since then butt haven't eaten anymore asphalt. Thank God!
Been riding almost 40 years on two wheels, 30 of which on the street. Old couple pulled out right in front of me once. Second time was a patch of oil in a blind corner.

i hit a gaurd rail doing about 50. I got a broken jaw, broken wrist, a scar on my cheek, and 2 broken fingers. now i got a hunk of metal in my face holding my jaw together.
One year ago I was on the couch with a cast on my right wrist and bad bruises on my right side too. My truck was paid off with the check from a totaled 06 M109R. I got luck I missed the power pole and stopped short of the street sign. I wanted to get an HD just didnt think it was going to be that way. I now have my 10 Glide and over 1000 miles since Aug. I am grateful and fortunate to ride again.
