Default 2005 ultra

just found out my engine is toast due to cam bearing debri. had just changed bearings, cams plates , oil pump and a ton of other stuff and couldnt get it to run right so brought to a shop who tells motor is junk and full of oil( didnt think it was sumping cause nothing came out plug) no i am looking at another 5,6 7 grand for new motor. thinkin of gettin a motor from salvage yard, any thoughts?

Check with your dealer. I would want a second opinion anyway but when my 1996 Heritage ate it's own bearings, I got a remanufactured engine from Harley. It was installed for about 3K. This was 3 years ago.
