Default Re-Attaching Tank Emblems

I followed advice from the forum to remove tank emblems with fishing line. Worked like a charm. Now here I am a year later thinking how it would look better if they were on the bike. What is the right adhesive to use to put them back on? I cleaned the backs good so they are ready but I want a good adhesive that won't damage the paint if I change my mind again later.

Find a trim-line guy that puts moldings and stripes on cars. A local car dealer or body shop will probably be able to recommend one. They'll have the tape you need. It's very thin and can be trimmed around the letters before you stick it on the tank. Or if you're near San Diego County PM me and I'll let you have some of mine.

This is what to use 3m two sided foam tape it comes in different sizes. Apply to emblem trim with razor blade.
I use a X Acto knife. Then stick to tank.
