great info. of course i'll make my own decision after i ride both, but it's interesting to hear others opinions and experiences with each. keep posting...enjoying the different views. Happy Thanksgiving btw.

I went with the RK for the same reasons most here did. I am not into tunes that often, but when I am, this is what I did and it cost me under $50.

i've owned both, handling is better on the roc. special at low speeds

I'm just not a batwing guy, but if I ever change my mind, I'll just buy one I can take on and off for the RK. Like said above , you can't beat the king for versatility

I've demoed both and for the most part it comes down to whether you want a fairing or not. SG is somewhat lower and with less shock travel you feel the bumps a bit more. And you get more wind over the lower windshield.

Thus far neither one has been able to lure me away from my Heritage.
