Default Why??

Just feeling p*ssed off today - spent most of yesterday detailing the bike and fitting one or two new trinkets, looking forward to a Sunday ride out. Get up this morning, bit dull and overcast, now it's hosing it down with rain![:@]

Don't you just know that Monday when I'm back at work will be a great day...! Doh!

I hear what you are saying.

There is juat something about riding in the rain that pisses me off. Everything gets nasty and dirty.[:@]

Then when I get home, I grab the water hose and wash it down, put it in the garage and start drying everything off. There is something calming and theraputic about rubbing the curves and chrome of the Road King. Polishing the headlight, auxilliary lights, the rocker boxes, the engine guard, the primary cover and each and every square inch of tin and chrome to make her shine in a most beautiful way.

I relive the thousands of miles of riding, the wind, the countryside and the roar of the exhaust. I can almost smell the spring wildflowers and the pine trees. I might have a cigar and a glass of Scotch while I slip into day dream mode and enjoy my time with my machine.

Do you know what? Maybe riding in the rain ain't so bad after all.

Enjoy what makes you happy.
