I have a 2004 Softail Deuce. I've done filter, V&H Big Shot Staggered, and remap. Bike ran great until about 3 months ago. Bike when riding stalls for a second. Sometimes feels like happens 2-3 times in a row. 2 or 3 times about 45 seconds after starts the bike almost stalls. I have gone thru 2-3 tanks of gas, put in fuel system cleaner, changed plugs, checked primary (too see if any play). Bike actually cuts out for split second when running. Sometimes hear chuffing sound.

Electrical? Do I need to chech chains? HELP!

yours sounds like it's rythmic, if so it's probably electronic (module) but i had one do it because of a bare spot in a wire that was shortin out. there should be a way to check the module I'd check for that online.

Check your battery, wires and connections. I've had similar issues and it was electrical.

Check your battery connections. My Wideglide was acting the same way. I had both neg and pos connections were loose.

I had the same problem. Could be an electrical short somewhere. I found the wire going to the front fender tip light on my Heritage was broke where it goes into the fender. Haven't had a problem since I fixed it.
