I got the HCI version of the carbon fiber 1/2 helmet. I'm not making a statement for or against either, only that carbon fiber is the way to go if you want light weight. The one your looking at is about 1/2 what I paid. Looks like a good deal.
Wow that is a great price and the style I'm looking for. Wonder if that "Outlaw" white lettering label on the back can be hidden somehow....black sharpie? I don't mind the DOT approved label....just the word "Outlaw" makes me think I'm going for an image look..like "bad to the bone" or something.
I have been using this helmet for about 2 years and highly recommend. 700 mile days are no problem, I don't know it's there. I believe you get what you pay for. The one your are looking at is a low price because it looks cheap. It all depends on what you are looking for and how much you are willing to spend. In addition to DOT the helmet is also Snell approved, which I believe is much more rigorous than DOT.
Looks great and far better than the stupid HD full face I bought. In this case I am looking for a summer smaller helmet. I will probably look at this route come next fall.
Thanks

That is a nice helmet with a good price. It shows a list price as $129 with a sale price of $69. I didn't see anything on that page about a cyber Monday discount of 15% off??

I agree! I do believe all of the stuff like that is sticker--in this case clear with white letters. My current 3 helmets are, anyway. I wish I needed another helmet. That is a super deal.
