I am looking at replacing my HD seat witha mustang or something else. The question I have is this. Does anyone have the single seat, then the seat that connects with a suction cup for the passenger? How do you like that setup compared to a regular 2 person seat? Mess up your paint?
I bet my wife has ridden 5000 miles with me on 4 different bikes using a suction seat, and other than she doesnt find it real comfortable, no complaints, does nothing to the paint
Have a bub with a street bob , he put on the Phantom Pad for his wife when we were in Vegas for the Bike Fest." Wrong ", she hated it, was uncomfortable as hell , took a cab back to the Hotel .She didn`t ride the whole weekend. Now she wants her own bike .............................
"lick and sticks" If you get the $$ ones made out of gel they are pretty comfy. Have I rode on one? Negative, but from the people I talk to they say they work well. A lot of custom scoot pilots use them, always wondered about the passenger pegs and solo seat with a 2k paint job.
I just put a Corbin saddle on my Sporty and got a Phantom suction and removable sissy bar for when my kids want to ride. It is not a bad ride for around town, but I could see where it wouldn't be good for long trips as it is only about 7" wide.
Wife said she wouldn't ride on it because her A$$ is too big for the pad. I told her the bike can't get any bigger so I can only see one other solution....
Guess she got over it but I don't know. Hasn't talked to me since.
