It was 32 today but sunny. I saw a crazy older guy without gloves, mask, or hat and only a green sweatshirt and jeans blasting down Kirkwood Hwy on his silver Road King.

thats insane - i rode 8 hrs / 430 miles saturday in mostly 20*'s up to Pa. on the interstate and even with lots of layers and heated gloves/insoles it was cold... dunno if he could survive riding long at 28 degrees even if he kept off the superslab!

after saturday's ride i wanted this to happen to me -->

we've got morons like that around here. They must have a thing for frostbite...........

I rode Friday for about 5 hours in mid fifties temp in the TX Hill Country and did not see another rider. We go into semi hibernation around here if the temp drops below 70.

I ride daily plug the heated gear in feels like a summer day. I have less bikers to wave at in the winter time. May be 20 to 50 bikers a day still riding around here. Those part time riders will have to be retrain in the spring/summer time again. Ride to Live & Live to Ride.

The other guy must have come home early and he didn't have time to grab his jacket........lol
