The coldest it has ever been when I was stupid ebough to ride was 18 degrees, last January. That's damn cold in southeast Texas! Just rode about 30 miles to my HOG chapter monthly meeting. There were a total of 27 Harleys and about 90 cars in the parking lot! Most people were smarter than me. On our way back from Sturgis in '09 we hit 109 degrees in western Oklahoma. Not sure which one I prefer.

Back when I was in the Army I rode my bike in a snow storm from Fort Knox, Kentucky to Fort Eustis, Virginia. Dam it was good to be young.

No heated gear back then.
