my pipes aren't very loud either, but state or federal laws regulating this chit isn't cool. Leave it to the locals. And keep your head out of the sand too - we'd never do that in Texas.

I'm not for anyone telling us what to do. I don't want anyone telling me what to do either. I am not for the legislation that forces us to have stock pipes. All I was trying to do is explain what the AMA is trying to do about getting some regulated noise testing standards. We are not all wacko tree huggers in California and I don't agree with most of the **** that goes on here.

Say it loud and proud! I couldn't agree more!

OK - I hear ya. Sorry - I probably got up on you more than I should've. Somehow, weird azz laws get pushed through in some places and CA is one of 'em. Hard not to hammer CA on account of it, but like you say, its not every last citizen that rolls thataway.

As usual the ones setting off the same car alarms everyday and the ones posting here support that such actions are great.

As usual the same ones are now complaing that laws are being past to end non OEM pipes.

As usual these same people can't see the connection.

Loud pipes save lives. I am absolutely convinced of that. Often I will hear a biker before I see him.

I have two sisters in California, as well.

It's tough living in the only state that kept all the same career politicians in office. Just about every state in the union kicked the liberal ***** out except California - not one was defeated. Everybody I voted for lost. All the **** I voted against won. If it wasn't for the great weather and the only state that allows lane splitting - I would be out of here too. But I have three more years to go before I can retire on a nice pension so I have to stay. And I didn't mean to offend you either.
