Well since you put it that way.....Man, you need a new lid, I would no longer trust it. There are new ones out there that cost more but they have an Anti-Bat coating.

New helmet. If you are even remotely worried about it get a new just for peace of mind but this time get the colour you really wanted in the first place.
Was it a real helmet or one of those fake POS a lot of harley riders wear? If real, it would take more than a squishy blood filled mamal to damage it, if it was the other, just buy a new sticker for it and say F-it!
As Darkchi said, if you are really worried about it, have the helmet inspected. Contact the manufacturer, they should be able to tell you where to take it.
You story reminds me of the time I almost hit a goose. Missed by less that a foot, it was so close I could hear it's feathers rustling. I don't want to think what it would have done it I did hit it.
