It is all about the fit. What works good for one does not work for all. Both my bikes have cut down windshields, does away with the buffeting even when wearing a helmet. The shields are about nose high.Look right over them.

Windshields are for cages not bikes.

If you need a windshield ride a jeep wrangler with the doors off.

Some people have face for bugs & rocks, Then others use a windshield. First thing you have to buy the right fix for your size. Some people thing they a different size then what they really are.

I won't ride without a windshield. Protection from the elements and whipped up stuff trumps the wind in my face feeling.

I used to put mine on when it got cold, but I quit doing that even. I just don't like it. I don't like the weight it adds to the front end. Oddly, I don't notice it so much when I put it on, as I do notice how much lighter it feels when I take it off.

I do 80 on the interstate and the windshield makes a big difference for me. I take it off for running around town.

thought about putting one on my fatty, yuck who does that to one.
In my opinion a screen is good for 80 and above or on windy days and it can also cause a lot of buffeting and wind noise if it does not suit you.

No to street bikes but a real need for tourers
