I don't have one, but hear they work and are worth it, but sounds like the problem is in your riding style maybe. You changed nothing on the forks, so I would think that they aren't causing the wobble. Different bars change the leverage you have on the forks, maybe thats got something to do with it.

I had a 2008 Sportster 1200 Custom. The fork brace was one of the best parts I ever added. It took almost all of the rattle and shake out of the front end. A wobble sounds like a different issue. If it is going on all the time, it may be uneven tire wear.

I like mine, particularily in a sweeping corner that has some crappy pavement. In these situations, I feel that the right and left fork legs stay in sync with one another.

The wobble is only at high speed I have a brand new front tire and just put the apes on I heard other people complain about the same thing the days I took it out it was windy as hell so I was just wondering if the fork brace was worth it thanks for the replys

I have one on a 07 Softail Custom and it made all the difference in the world with the front end wandering around and it took the wobble out at around 80 so I would say they do work. I further fixed the problem by installing a 19" front wheel with a 120 tire and canned that 21" pizza cutter that it came with. Drives like a dream now.

If your front wheel is "dancing" at higher speeds, you need a fork brace. For those that have to remove your front fender, you are taking away the side to side support. You fork tubes may twist at higher speeds.
In the old chopper days Ive seen many a front tire pulled of the rim, and pot holes sending bikes sideways due to no fork support.
A look isnt worth your life.
