I think some are just getting tired of it and the one who will not wave may be the one
who would stop if you are broke down.
I wave to everyone and If I wave and it does not get returned I change my wave to a salute with the middle finger.

I do notice that the motorcycle gang members do not waive and thats a good thing.
1% club members wave to other bikers , Still don't understand the good thing part.

[sm=interesting.gif] As a truck driver we have the same type of commradarie (spell check), for the most part. With me its those damn cattle haulers, or so it seems. Those bastards are so rude! They drive like maniacs and they think they are so great.
Thats how I used to feel, then I grew up. I notice that when I'm driving in more rural areas we all wave to each other but when we get in the urban centers we can't be bothered. Its not being rude its just that it becomes too much. And sometimes its just the individual. Some people say hello walking down the street and some try to avoid the eye contact. It's just a personality thing. Nothing to do with what kind of truck you drive or bike you ride, just different strokes for different folks. Sometimes it's just the day we have too. They can't all be happy joyful ones. On days like that I've thought of getting one of those waving hands. You know, the ones on a suction cup and spring that you stick to your windshield.
Anyway, bigger things in the world to worry about.[

Well If you pass me & I don't wave don't take it personal . There may be a curve coming up or something that commands my full attention.
But as a rule I wave at most all bikes.
Hell come to think of it if I'm first in line waiting for a Train to cross I'll even wave at them , car , truck or bike .
