I wave at all bikes except rockets. Will wave if they do tho. Sometimes another bike wont wave back, if I think they are being rude I will switch to middle salute.

we just got back from the gulf where we played in some waves!
we also attend college football games where some people will do the wave!
we rode up to Nashville Indiana where we must have seen a gazillion bikes......i quit waving after a few thousand.

Sometimes I get sick of waving. We were at a rally this past weekend, took off to get some beer 8 miles away and folks are waving??? There is a rally going on, there is tons of bikes, WE ARE HERE!!!

I went for a ride during Football game time today (1 to 4 PM) and it was in the high 60's. Everyone I passed waved. And it seemed like there were more bikers than cars on the road. Perhaps the non-wavers are all big football fans who only ride in hot weather.
I have gotten to the point where I dont' care if people wave back or not. I wave to everyone if they don't wave back --whatever. Who cares?

1% club members wave to other bikers , Still don't understand the good thing part.
I do notice that the motorcycle gang members do not waive and thats a good thing.
