Fuel injected? Have you checked to see if you have any stored fault codes?
When my Fuel Injected RKC classic acts a little funny and doesn't idle high enough (when cold) the first thing I do is check the battery connections. A loose battery connection might be the culprit.

battery is charged. no loose connection. yes, it's fuel injected. this just started last week and as much as I don't want to say. It only has 5300 miles on it. yes, it's my other means of transpo and i love it. i don't ride that much but, it still says that i own it. j/k, she is the love of my life and cant understand why she is acting up. i give her a good stall to live in but, she as all bitches is acting up and wont tell me why. just like a good woman.
I remember reading about this issue....wasn't it the crank position sensor...?
My bike had this problem (crank position sensor) at 20,000 miles. 5300 miles seems to be awfully low, unless there is a greater problem causing the sensor to collect debris.
Our 07 did the stalling at idle sitting at stop lights a few times when new. Always started right back up. Then again she did in 09 on two different rides around 20k.
On the first issue in 07, After I had the stg1/sert and dynoed at the 1k service she ran fine till around 20k.
At 20k she cut out a couple times while riding and then died right in front of one of our Local indys, He took the ECM and upluged it, waited a minute and then plugged it back in. He said sometimes they just need to be reseated. then we check the battery cables and they also was not tight. After we tightened them shes been perfect.
so it could have been either the cables or the ECM....
