Ok, I know it's a softail, but have you seen the new Blackline? I'm kinda digging it. Hope they have it at the International Motorcycle Show in Cleveland this weekend.
Enough of the fake bobbers I say, it was cool in 2007 but now EVERY new model? c'mon there just aint that many too old to skateboard anymore dudes dropping cash on Harley's to justify this, my local dealers apparel section looks like my boy's favorite skateboard shop circa 2006, no I don't like it I don't like anything about it... it looks like the love child of a streetbob and a wideglide. Show some creativity here Harley

It does appear to be getting more young people into Harleys. A few years ago no one I knew in their twenties wanted a Harley here. Now most want an Iron or a Nightster. Maybe its a sign i'm starting to get old, I dunno.
But to me that looks like a softail standard with black rims and a mismatched tank. Give me a Street Bob anyday. I'd like to see a dark custom Road King.

EDIT: Then I saw it in black....yeah it'll do.
A can of black paint can make any bike a dark custom... As soon as I get enough time off from work, I'm taking black paint to my grey engine as alot of other people have done.
Yeah planning on doing the same, and changing to spoked rear and powdercoating rims and fork lowers. Still leaving the chrome bits though. Not sure what to do paint wise on tins but it won't be satin black, maybe something bright...
I remember seeing an olive green softail around 2002-2003 model that was like a heritage but with a springer front end, 16/16 rims, white walls and springer seat so it resembled a WLA a fair bit, but never seen one since. That would be a good base, any ideas what model it would have been, when it was for sale the made out it was close to factory...?
