I'm not an Old Foggie yet at 36, but I'll say that my I got my 1st bike 18 years ago back in 1993 which was a 1980-something Honda Rebel 250. My bud had one too and we rode them from the California Bay Area to Ensenada, Mexico. Their max speed was 65 MPH, so it took a while to get there.
20 years ago I was riding a Yamaha XSEleven. It had a fairing and Vetter saddle bags!
