Actually, I was at two dealers in Detroit last summer, and every single item of clothing was more expensive than where I was living in Ontario at the time. Now I don't know if thats just cause I went to two dealers with ridiculous markup, but MSRP on my Fat Boy Lo is 17,699 here in Canada and 16,299 in the US, so not that big of a deal. HD is actually very decent to us with pricing, my buddy bought an ultra a few years back when our dollar was making a run, and from the time he ordered it at Christmas to delivery in the spring, dealer called three times to say pricing had been adjusted downward due to the dollar. Compare that to ski-doo which is made here in Canada, and is 2-3000 more here and price is never adjusted.
50% off Canadian prices usually means US MSRP prices.
Ya but by the time they get that far north its old stock and has to be marked down to make room for the new stuff which will again be old by the time it arrives so there's always a sale.
