FXRG is "the" best clothing that the MOCO puts it's blessing on.
My dealer doesn't stock it so I've got to find a dealer that does cause
I don't want to buy without trying it on
I think the people who won't wear anything with Harley on it "because that's not what the cool kids do" are the biggest posers of all, but I mentioned that in another thread, in a friendlier way, and I think I made one of them cry. I won't buy Harley leather, even though I like the looks, because it's too thin to justify the price and made in China. I have the same policy on most "motor clothes," but if somebody gives me something from HD or I get something cheap, I love to wear it. HOG bought me a Harley Davidson 1/4 zip sweater a while back (paid me back for an Experienced Rider Course with gift certificates) - it's one of my favorites.
I bought a used FXRG jacket at a huge savings over new and love it. Not a lot of logos that can be seen easily and I went to a dealer to make sure it was the right size before bidding.
Ive got 2or3 t shirts but thats it,i dont buy their stuff mainly because its way over priced, and they just dont do suttle, everything is plastered with big patches and lettering, you end up looking like a walking billboard.
HD doesn't make clothes, they make motorcycles. They just license clothing companies to make stuff with the HD logo on it.
What cracks me up is the guys that swear a HD item is superior to the exact same thing that a company makes without the HD logo on it.
HD is in a league of their own when it comes to marketing. They know how to make their customers drink the kool aid and turn them into sheeple!
You can buy the same stuff without the logo, usually for far less money.
But then, no one would know you owned a HD if you didn't walk around like a mobile billboard?
I think that most of the companies that HD has that make their leather goods for the most part do an outstanding job.
On another note, I get a big kick out of people who knock Kuryakyn stuff, only to see down the road that HD has obviously done biz with the same vendor and now has that same product in their package. Humorous actually..

I agree, Im not paying $600+ for a Harley Davidson jacket if I can get the same quality in another brand for much less. Im not that attached to the HD merchandise or logo. Though if Im going to buy something, Im going to be wearing it. Not going to stuff it in my closet until the styles change just so I look different from the rest. Though, I do like hearing about the other quality products that are comparable brands to the Harley Davidson merchandise.
