Default Michelin Scorcher Tires ?

I need new front and rear tires soon and was wondering if anyone could give me info on the Michelin Scorcher tiers. I see HD is not putting them on their dynas. These tires are currently on sale at J & P Cycles. Thanks for any input and information.

I know HD started putting them on the 2011 Night Rods, other than thatI don't know about them.

That's what came with my '10 SB, looking to pick up a new one from J&P...the rear tread is almost gone after 8100 miles.

My new 2010 Super Glide came with the michelin scorchers...they're not bad tires.....they handle well. I'm gonna need a new rear tire this spring....at about 8000 miles. I ride this Dyna pretty aggressive in the twisties, so I guess that's not bad tire life. Haven't had any trouble with them...and they've worn evenly.

They were OE on my 2010 FXDC. No complaints performance wise, and since I only have 2k miles on them I can't comment on longevity. The only issue I have with them is with the front tire in a turn. Some kind of odd rapid, faint vibration I feel in the handlebars. Does this with the bike in a lean, both left and right. I suppose it's coming from the HD logo or tread design channels on the shoulder. Other than that, they handle fine on both wet and dry roads.
