Then I found out asbestos cannot be used any longer, sux bein me!

My first thought, too --- BUT I got to thinking about what used to be callled "attractive nuisance" liability. That's why my insurance company required me to build a 5-foot high fence around my back yard to keep idiots from wandering into our swimming pool. Don't want to give any ideas to the ambulance-chasers here, but why would one be immune to liabilty when parking a bike with dangerously hot pipes in a public area with no warning to or protection of passerbys?
